Three-penny galleries have been included in the Phase II playhouse (see 4.8.1).  As with Phase I, a person enters from the yard for a penny, then pays a second to enter into the galleries, and a third at the door to enter for a cushioned seat.

In the model, timber-frame half-walls divide the two-penny galleries from the three-penny room containing benches with cushions. At the opposite end, a timber frame and plaster wall divide this room from the Gentlemen’s rooms.
